THE RUINS OF NOWHERE
                            Run down buildings are sighted midst the grasslands of nowhere. This project visualises those ruins via Blender. Completely produced and composed in Blender. Focused on environment design, Texture Detailing and Super Realism.
1. Modelling:
    The ruin is made baked down to a low poly after applying different sets of displacement maps. The lands are sculpted and displacement given for waterbodies fitting the desired environment. 8 variations or grass strands, 16 variations of grass clumps, 5 variations of pond reeds are scattered around the whole of the scene, with the help of weight painting.
2. Texturing:
     Contains 5 major sets of texture maps made of different materials (The ground, water, the ruins, grasses and reeds), 3 displacement maps (The ruins, water and land), extensive use of particle systems.
The ruin contains 3 different materials with respective sets of texture and displacement maps. The unfinished plaster, damged bricks and stones with normal strengths kept high gives more depth to the ruins texture. Adding grass on to it in a clever distribution to show the ageing.
3. Lighting and Rendering:
    The Lighting is provided by the sky HDRI and a sun aligned on the same direction. 2 sets of fog is added to the scene. The scene is rendered in 500 samples x 256 tile size on pc spec of gtx 1060ti and Intel i7 10th Gen.
